Keep fit, enjoy the outdoors and help others

When you become a Health Walk Volunteer you not only get to enjoy companionable walks in your area, but also help others experience the health and wellbeing benefits of regular walking.

There’s no need to be super fit or know how to read a map.   Volunteering with Hertfordshire Health Walks is flexible and there is no expectation of a time commitment. The experience is rewarding and regular walking will benefit your health as well as the health of others.  You will meet loads of like-minded people and explore your local countryside. The walks take place in many locations around the county.

If you aren't quite ready to volunteer but would like to join the walks anyway, find out more about Hertfordshire Health Walks by visiting www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/healthwalks

Upcoming training for new health walk volunteers is scheduled for Wednesday 18th March in Bushey and Thursday 21st May in Woolmer Green, nr Knebworth  (9:30am to 2:30pm)  and spaces are still available.

Go to Events | GoVolHerts to book your space.
