What is the Big Help Out?
The objective of The Big Help Out is to raise awareness of volunteering throughout the UK and provide opportunities for people to experience volunteering and make a difference in their communities.
This is not a profit making or fundraising initiative.
It takes place annually, this year between 7 - 9 June, which also coincides with the 40th Anniversary of Volunteers Week!
To celebrate, we are hosting a large Volunteer Fair in Hitchin Market Place on Friday 7 June, from 10am - 4pm. There will be around 30 local charities attending the fair, talking to people about how they can get involved and make a difference in Hertfordshire
