November is meatballs month! Our charity's exciting 'Meatballs for Muscle Dreams' campaign is seeking a confident, self-starter - could that be you?

Detailed description

MHF is a multi award-winning small charity. You are a self-starter, a strong communicator, ideally with PR, event and/or campaign experience, looking to make an impact.

Whether you love meatballs or not, this is an innovative campaign that's already caught the attention of many chefs! This is a foodie fundraiser with a simple goal ~ to leverage the campaign by engaging the nation's appetite throughout the month of November by getting people to host their own meatball party or just cook up some balls, be they meat, fish or whatever and in so doing, help support MHF in making more Muscle Dreams a reality!

We are looking for a volunteer to drive the campaign forwards. With support from MHF's CEO, you will have full autonomy to help make the campaign an even greater success in 2022. A self-starter, with bags of energy, initiative and strong communications skills, this short term 4-month project has all the assets pretty much in place.

The key deliverable is to amplify awareness, exploiting social media by posting frequent messages that are all about driving campaign engagement. We want to make as much 'social noise' in the months leading up to November, most likely starting work in late August and building the meatballs momentum!

In addition to MHF's CEO, you will also work with one or two other volunteers, namely those with copy-writing and creative graphic skills to ensure that the creative aspect of the campaign is felt externally. You will also work with a niche PR contact to make sure that messaging is joined up and has impact across all platforms.

This role will lend itself brilliantly to someone who can make things happen - we've no doubt that it will be a fun short-term project, with loads of flexibility - of course, we will support you as much as we possibly can, so you also have loads of fun along the way.

We are also keen to encourage ideas, so if you're a foodie or perhaps you know your way around the hospitality world or indeed have connections with any organisations or people that you think might be interested in partnering with MHF on this campaign, then reach out and let's talk!

Got a creative flair? Confident on the phone? Got great digital skills (including knowing how to use social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & Twitter)? We want to hear from you.

What are we looking for?
