Volunteer driver of your own, or our vehicles, taking those without other means of transport to medical etc appointments. Mileage is paid.

We are a local charity that covers Royston, Melbourn, Meldreth and all villages surrounding Royston. Our volunteer drivers drive their own cars, or our wheelchair accessible vehicles (full training given). We take people who are unable to drive themselves or use public transport due to age, frailty, impaired mobility, or do not have the use of a car, to medical appointments, dentists, G.P. or nurse appointments, day centres etc.

Mileage is paid at 45p per mile, plus 5p for the passenger, under current HMRC rules.

Our drivers do whatever days suits them, and let us know their availability ahead of time. All our journeys are pre-booked and drivers can accept or decline any booking requests.
